The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet released a video showing how the department uses “synchronized snowplowing” to clear the snowy roads, WKYT reported.

Seven snowplows were staggered across Interstate 75 in Fayette County on Monday, pushing the snow from the outside lane to an inside shoulder, the television station reported.

“Synchronized snow plowing is a thing!” the KYTC tweeted. “Removing snow from the barrier wall keeps the left shoulder clear for emergency use and keeps drainage boxes unclogged.”

The work of the snowplow drivers was a welcome relief. Ice, sleet and snow fell in the area on Monday and Tuesday, WKYT reported.
