Beyoncé releases new visual album ‘Black Is King’

Beyoncé has done it again.

According to Rolling Stone, the pop superstar's "Black Is King" visual album, which is connected to the 2019 Disney remake of "The Lion King" and her album "The Lion King: The Gift," debuted at midnight Friday on Disney+. Subscribers to the video streaming service can watch "Black Is King" here.

Beyoncé also released the video for the song "Already."

Last month, the singer-songwriter described the visual album as a "labor of love."

“It is my passion project that I have been filming, researching and editing day and night for the past year. I’ve given it my all, and now it’s yours,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “It was originally filmed as a companion piece to ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ soundtrack and meant to celebrate the breadth and beauty of Black ancestry.”

She also shared a trailer on Thursday.
