Residents at an Iowa assisted living facility celebrated their version of the Olympics opening ceremony on Wednesday, KTIV reported.

Residents at Aspen Heights Assisted Living in Hull passed around a homemade Olympic torch, using walkers to carry the flame down the facility’s hall.

Aspen Heights is a 24-apartment independent and assisted living community, according to its website. Residents were beaming as Olympic-style music blared in the background.

Seven women carried the torch -- four used walkers, one carried the “flame” as she navigated her wheelchair, and the last two residents walked. The flame wound up in the facility’s common area.

They are all winners.
