MILFORD, Ohio — A 2-year-old with terminal cancer made a wish to celebrate every holiday in a week, so Christmas came early for Easton Wilson.

The toddler was diagnosed with bone cancer that has spread throughout his small body, WLWT reported. Doctors do not believe he will celebrate his birthday in February, so Easton packed his birthday, Thanksgiving, Halloween, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter and the Fourth of July into one week. Christmas was Tuesday.

“It looked like his eyes just opened up, and you could see the joy in his eyes,” Santa Claus said. “Even though he can’t express himself very much 'cause he’s really tired.”

People all over the country have sent Easton cards. Neighbors and strangers came together to drop off cards and gifts as well.

“I think I’m seeing that even though our world right now is kind of crazy, that people are good,” Taylor Schultheis, of Make-A-Wish, which organized the events for Easton, told WLWT. “This is what we do. We make wishes come true.”
