Kanye West lists Wyoming ranch for $11 million

CODY, Wyo. — Wyoming appears to have lost its appeal for Kanye West, who has listed his sprawling estate outside Cody for $11 million.

The 3,888-acre compound, known as West Ranch and formerly Monster Lake Ranch, encompasses six square miles and features lakes, a lodge, commercial kitchen, equipment sheds, horse facility, corrals and a go-kart track, according to the DBW Realty listing.

According to the Cody Enterprise, the total property with additional leased federal land was listed for auction at $13.3 million in 2019 before West purchased it, but the rapper, music producer and fashion mogul’s winning bid has never been made public.

Monday’s move follows West’s late September listing of his seven commercial properties off Big Horn Avenue for more than $3.2 million, the newspaper reported.

According to Fox Business, West, 44, relocated from California to Wyoming in 2019, in a bid to base at least some of his clothing enterprises out of the 10,000-resident Cody on the eastern approach to Yellowstone National Park. Those plans have not materialized.

Kellen Whitehead, a sales manager at Whitlock Motors in Cody, confirmed to The New York Times that earlier this year West began selling the four-wheelers he and his now-estranged wife, Kim Kardashian West, rode in an early video clip filmed in the area.

Meanwhile, Fremont Motor Co. confirmed to the Times that West sold his fleet of Ford Raptor trucks back to the company about three weeks ago.
