Eight mass vaccination sites to offer Johnson and Johnson vaccine

JJ vaccine is single-dose

Those eight mass coronavirus vaccination sites operated by GEMA—including the one at the Habersham County Fairgrounds in Clarkesville—are offering vaccinations without appointments, starting today. Also effective today: those sites are offering only the single-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine. All eight are scheduled to close later this month.

From the Georgia News Network...

Starting today multiple sites operated by the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security will allow drive-ups with no appointments required. The sites include the Delta Air Lines Museum in Hapeville, Sandersville Word of Life Church, LakePoint Sports Complex, the Columbus Civic Center, the Habersham County Fairgrounds, Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, the Macon Farmers Market, and Waycross Mall. The sites will administer the single dose Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer vaccine. If you’ve already recieved the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, you can get the second dose at any of the site by making an appointment through myvaccinegeorgia.com.
