Athens-Clarke County Commissioners meet tonight: it is another virtual session, streaming live on the Athens-Clarke County government’s YouTube Channel.

There is an afternoon meeting of the Clarke County School District’s property committee, a special session that gets underway just after 4 o’clock: the meeting will be streamed live on the Clarke County School District’s YouTube Channel.

Tonight’s Oconee County Commission meeting will be closely watched by supporters and opponents of plans for a sprawling shopping complex planned for just off Highway 316: Commissioners are expected to vote up or down on a developer’s request for a rezone, one that would allow for construction of a Publix grocery store on 46 acres of land off Mars Hill Road at the Oconee Connector. This evening’s meeting is set for 6 at the courthouse in Watkinsville.
